Member of the Application Operations and Development Group, which hosts prospective customers to evaluate equipment, prints on-demand customer print samples, produces marketing prints for tradeshows and presentations, and evaluates new print materials. Other responsibilities include graphic design projects for the demo center and marketing group, trade show support, and in-depth knowledge of all printers and applications software. Special projects include solving color issues and print testing.

January 2001—April 2006:
Graphic Designer, Airmar Technology Corporation, Milford, NH
Sole designer in charge of Media Department, producing sales brochures, trade show graphics, Flash presentations, video/animations and the company's 400+ catalog (print and CD versions). Other responsibilities include advertising, taking product photography/maintaining product library, producing custom magazine illustrations, corporate identity materials, company newsletters, product logos, Powerpoint presentations and occasional copywriting.

February 2000—January 2001:
Graphic Designer, Tera Media Corporation, Amherst, NH
Sole designer in charge of the company’s Creative Department, producing all retail packaging for the company’s worldwide CD-R business, as well as all marketing and trade show materials. Also responsible for maintaining the company’s web site.

November 1998—February 2000:
Graphic Designer, C.B. Sullivan Company, Hooksett, NH
Sole designer in charge of the company’s Creative Department, producing all company printed collateral such as the company’s Barber Catalog, sale flyers and sale materials, show flyers and tickets, business cards, corporate invitations, signage, t-shirts and other corporate promotional materials. Also responsible for system maintenance, print buying and maintaining photo library as well as supervising a graphic design internship position in the department.

February 1996—1999:

Instructing a three week course to up to fourteen students on Photoshop or Fundamentals of Design, from basic working knowledge to more complex concepts and usage.

December 1997—September 1998:

Computer person/system manager for the agency’s art department, generating any and all computer graphics files, using Quark, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Also responsible for pre-press, ordering scans, e-mailing logos and other digital collateral when needed, and maintaining the art department in general.

All Photoshop work for a department of eight designers, such as ordering scans, producing photo illustrations, conceptualizing, siloing, combining images, montages, color correction, retouching, for projects such as the company magazine, CD’s, trade show graphics, advertisements and other company printed materials. Responsibilities also include Quark production work and executing illustrations using Illustrator and/or Ray Dream Designer.

August 1993—June 1995:

Digital adjustment of scanned images (color correction, cloning/retouching, combining images, creating duo/tritones, ghosting, siloing, vignetting) using Photoshop, preparing and/or building customer supplied Quark, Freehand or Pagemaker files, (placing high-res imagery, trapping Illustrator/Freehand files, building/ combining Photoshop elements). Working knowledge of various proofing systems (3M, Iris, Matchprint), imagesetter output and system management.
